Spring break is here and Morro and Jasp are taking off on their biggest and boldest adventure yet.  Pack your bags and join the clown sisters for the coming-of-age trip of a lifetime.

BIOS
Heather Marie Annis - Morro
Heather Marie Annis is a film and theatre actor, playwright and clown.  With a BFA in Theatre and a MA in Environmental Studies from York University, her work specializes in theatre for social and environmental justice. Her involvement in community arts projects includes: The Longest Way Around, a play created with the community members of Shawanaga First Nations Reserve; socio-environmental show, The Way (BareBack Theatre); and facilitating youth workshops. Heather is the playwright in residence at Mixed Company for 2009/10 season. Also, she will be training in the fall to join Dr Clown Toronto.
In addition to Morro and Jasp selected performance credits include: Vacancy (The Creative Ensemble in association with Peter McKinnon), Savage/Love (Zeitgeist Theatre/Column 13), West Side Story (OLT), The Famous Remains of Piggy Palace (18 Hands and Sonia Norris), Showdown and Mixed Messages (Mixed Company Theatre).

Amy Lee - Jasp
Amy graduated from York University with an Honours BA in Psychology and Theatre, specializing in collective creation. Since graduating, she has been busy collaborating with U.N.I.T. Productions on The Funtastical Friendship of Morro and Jasp, The Truth According to Morro and Jasp, Morro and Jasp Go Green (NOW Magazine's Outstanding Production for Young Audiences, Outstanding Ensemble), The Bully Show: Clown in the Round (with Mixed Company Theatre) and Morro and Jasp do Puberty (Best of Fringe; NOW Magazine's Outstanding Production, Outstanding Ensemble).
Other selected performance credits include: Hana’s Suitcase (LKTYP), November (WJT; Canadian Premiere), Pride and Prejudice (MTC), The Soldier Dreams, Our Lady of 121st Street, Balm in Gilead (Column 13 Actors Company), Savage/Love (Zeitgeist Theatre), I Will Not Hatch! (Hank Marvin Theatre),The Way (Summerworks; Bareback Theatre), Vacancy (The Creative Ensemble).

Byron Laviolette - Director
Byron Laviolette is a Canadian playwright, director, dramaturge and critic who has been involved in theatre making and production for the last 20 years. Highlights include the world première of Waiting for Gilgamesh: Scenes from Iraq; Theatre du Refuse's five star run of The Hunt For Treasure in the Toronto Fringe and its remount in N.Y.C in 2007 with English Rose Productions; Morro and Jasp do Puberty with U.N.I.T. Productions as well as the Canadian Premiere of Reefer Madness at the Hart House Theatre in 2006.
Byron is currently completing a PhD degree in Theatre Studies at York University, working on a dissertation on Canadian Theatre History and his criticism can be read frequently in EYE WEEKLY.
